Bullador - Bodi is about 3 and a half months old and he was rescued from a local shelter where his breed is illegal. He is playful and loves to play with both dogs, kids, and adults. He is a really nice dog and he is definitely going to be a big boy. The way he puts his ears up on top of his head is both hysterical and extremely cute. Bodi is guaranteed to put a smile on your face and earn a place in your heart. He is neutered, current on vaccines and micro-chipped.

Pomeranian / Corgi mix - Uno is about a year old, probably 10 - 12 pounds and a pretty little girl. We have actually known her since she was born and are sad that circumstances won't allow his adoptive family to keep her. She has been de-wormed, micro-chipped, spayed, and is current on all her vaccinations.  

                   

Dayton  ~ Adopted!!!!!!

   

Pit Bull mix - FOSTER HOME ALSO NEEDED.   We rescued Dayton from a kill shelter where his breed is illegal. He is probably about a year and a half old and very eager to be with you. He is a people pleaser and he loves treats. Dayton also loves to run and play in the yard and does well with other dogs. He is one of those dogs everybody loves the second they meet him. He is neutered, current on vaccines and micro-chipped.

Shepherd mix - We rescued Kyle from an Iowa shelter. He is probably about 7 months old and very, very happy! He is also loves to play with other dogs, and loves getting attention from people. He is house-trained and his foster home really enjoys him, and I bet that you would too. He is neutered, current on vaccines and micro-chipped.

Jack Russel Terrier - We rescued Lilly when her breeder no longer wanted her. She is about 13 weeks old and as cute as you could ever imagine. She is very active and loves to play with just about anyone and everyone.....dogs, cats, kids, adults, men, women, butterflies, you name it. She is spayed, current on vaccines and micro-chipped.

Rottweiler mix - Jackson is a year old, around 60 pounds, house-trained, and just as well behaved as he is pretty. He does great with other dogs and is very good with kids. His foster home absolutely raves about him. He is neutered, current on vaccines and micro-chipped.

Peek-a-poo - Julia was one of the dogs we rescued from a puppy mill. If you don't know what a puppy mill is, Google it, they are not very nice places. Julia was a little timid at first, but she really came around very quickly. She is good with other dogs, and is just the cutest little fluff ball with a personality to match. We hope to have better pictures of her up soon. She is spayed, current on vaccines and micro-chipped.

Schneagle - Mio is an owner surrender. His owners can no longer keep him because of unfortunate circumstances. He is around 3 years old and probably 35 - 40 lbs. He has a great disposition, is incredibly smart, loyal, and to top it off, loves everyone and everything. He is also completely house-trained and knows several commands. Milo is neutered, current on vaccinations, and micro-chipped.

Toy poodle - Parker was rescued from a puppy mill auction. He is 5 months old, about 6 pounds, and really cute (we will get better pictures as soon as possible). He is also a non-shedding dog, which means no allergy problems. He is micro-chipped, current on his vaccinations, and neutered.

Lab / Shepherd mix - We rescued Wiley from a local shelter. He is probably about a year old and very, very happy! He is also well behaved and extremely loving, which are definite bonuses. Wiley is an all-american mutt and he is guaranteed to put a smile on your face. He is neutered, current on vaccines and micro-chipped.

Lhasa Apso - Hogan is 2 years old and a very mellow dog. He loves to sit with, or on you, and he gets along great with other dogs and children. He is pretty low key and very easy to please. Hogan is in a foster home where he has really come out of his shell. He no longer spends his time hiding and he enjoys running in the backyard with all the other dogs in his foster home. He is micro-chipped, current on his vaccinations, and neutered.

Papillion - Bentley is about 8 months and has some of the biggest, cutest eyes ever. He does well with other dogs, and kids. He is really sweet and absolutely adorable and loves to play with the other dog in his foster home. The foster home says that he is one of the most entertaining dogs they have ever met and often makes them laugh. He is micro-chipped, current on his vaccinations, and neutered.

Blue Pit Bull puppy - We rescued Tavia from a shelter where their breed is banned and she would have been euthanized. Tavia is in a foster home where she is learning manners and being socialized with other dogs and children.

Schnauzer / Yorkie mix -  Teddy was picked up as a stray and taken to a shelter where we rescued him. He is a very sweet little guy, weighs about 10 pounds, and even house-trained. He is truly an excellent little dog. He is neutered, current on vaccines and micro-chipped.

He is 16 weeks old, about 5 pounds, likes to play with other puppies, and completely adorable. Havapoos are also hypo-allergenic, non-shedding dogs. He is micro-chipped, current on his vaccinations, and neutered.

Pug - Jonas was rescued from a puppy mill auction. He is 6 months old and definitely has personality.....as most pugs do. He plays well with other dogs, and is very patient with them even when he shouldn't always be. Everybody that has met Jonas has instantly had to run over, pick him up, and love on him. He is micro-chipped, current on his vaccinations, and neutered.

American Eskimoo - Justice is a 3 - 4 month old male that we rescued from a puppy mill auction. He is absolutely adorable.He is just fine with other dogs, very curious about everything that is going on around him. Havapoo - Nico is a havanese and poodle mix. He is 16 weeks old, about 5 pounds, likes to play with other puppies, and completely adorable. Havapoos are also hypo-allergenic, non-shedding dogs. He is micro-chipped, current on his vaccinations, and neutered.

Coon hound mix puppy -  Layla is only about 4 months old and as cute as you could ever hope for. She is a doll! Layla weighs about 25 - 30 pounds and loves to play with dogs of all sizes. She is spayed, current on vaccines and micro-chipped.

Red Nosed American Pit Bull  - Roscoe is a 9 month old Red Nosed American Pit Bull puppy and weighs 40 - 45 pounds right now. He does great with other dogs, fine with cats, is very affectionate, and loves kids. I can't honestly think of anything, or anyone, that he doesn't like. Roscoe may also be the nicest pit bull we have ever met. He is fully house-trained, and an amazing dog, his foster home doesn't even kennel him. He loves to sit and watch TV with you, play in the yard with you or other dogs, and he really enjoys sleeping in bed with you.  Roscoe is micro-chipped, current on vaccinations, and neutered.

Black Lab - Victor's write up was done by the amazing people at Dogtopia who are currently fostering him. "Victor is approximately 2 years old and 110 pounds. He is a sweet boy with a soft temperament. That being said, he is also a confident dog and not much fazes him. Victor is getting along well with the other dogs in his foster home. He loves rowdy play with other dogs and "talks" while he plays. Other than talking while playing, Victor is not a big barker - we have rarely heard him bark.

Victor loves people and is great with kids. Kids can wrap their arms around his neck for a hug and he is perfectly fine with that - he'll even give them a little kiss. He loves to snuggle on the couch with people and enjoys belly rubs, as well as full body rubs. Victor is well mannered and doesn't jump up much. He knows sit, down, shake, hi-five, and has a pretty good recall. A couple kids were visiting the other day and they had a great time instructing Victor to sit for treats. He takes treats very gently. Victor also loves to chase a ball. Right now he doesn't always bring it back and we are teaching him "drop". You can take the ball out of his mouth any time and he is fine with it. He is a biddable dog and very treat motivated, so he learns quickly. He also loves to play in the hose and baby pool."

Victor is a very large boy and needs a forever home that can provide him with a large fenced in yard and lots of unconditional love. He is being fostered at a doggie day care who volunteered to take him in. They are providing him with lots of socialization and play time and he was doing great. For this, we cannot thank Dogtopia enough. Victor is housebroken, crate trained, fully vaccinated, neutered, and micro-chipped.

Pit Bull - Corrie is the mother of the puppies we also have for adoption. She has been in play group with other dogs and is very social and gets along with all of the dogs very well. Corrie is absolutely the SWEETEST dog you will ever meet and a perfect ambassador for the breed. She is good with kids as well. You will love Corrie the second you meet her, because I guarantee she will love you. She was rescued from a shelter where they are illegal because of their breed, and would have been euthanized and with dogs like her, that would have been truly a shame. Corrie is micro-chipped, current on vaccinations, and will be spayed before her adoption.

Dachshund - Zach was surrendered by his breeder. He is 10 weeks old and an incredibly good looking Dachshund. He is in a foster home with his brother Clyde, learning how to be a good puppy, gettind socialized to other dogs, cats, and kids, as well as the fine art of potty-training. He will be Neutered, and he is current on vaccines and micro-chipped.

Pit Bull mix - We rescued Jasmine from a kill shelter where she would have been euthanized because of her breed......puppy or not. She is about 12 weeks old and she is a very playful little girl. She will be sapyed, and she is current on vaccines and micro-chipped.

Pit Bull mix - We rescued Rainee from a kill shelter that was way over their limit. Rainee would have been one of the first to be put down because of her breed. Well, you know how we LOVE the pits and their was no way we could let that happen. She is an 9 month old sweetheart who does well with other dogs and doesn't mind about cats. She absolutely loves to be with people, or better yet....cuddling with them. You will never meet a sweeter little girl. She is micro-chipped, current on her vaccinations, and spayed.

Lab mix - This poor girl has a sad story. She is a 4 year old lab/ shepherd mix. She is a very sweet, affectionate girl with a neglected past. She is completely housebroken and is very loving around everyone she meets, except men. She can be very unpredictable with men as she does not trust them at all. She will need a home willing to help her with this. She is about 30-40 lbs. Please consider helping this girl out. We will get better pictures up as soon as we can. She is micro-chipped, current on her vaccinations, and spayed.

Alaskan Malamute - Isabella was surrendered by her owners who had fallen on hard times and could no longer keep her. She is 2 years old, 90 pounds, completely beautiful, super sweet, and very well mannered. A home with no cats and no other dogs would be best. She does however love children and we are hoping to find a home where she will have several of them for her to play with. We will NOT adopt her to an outdoor home because she just wants to be with people. She is micro-chipped, current on vaccinations, and spayed.

Chinese Crested Powder Puff - Misty is a 7 year old Chinese Crested Powderpuff. She came to us as a owner surrender and is now adjusting to the good life indoors. She is literally the sweetest dog you will meet. She will always welcome a good belly rub : )  She is housetrained, spayed, microchipped, vaccinated, heartworm tested and started on Heartgard. She gets along with kids, cats and dogs. Yellow Lab - Luke may be the cutest little lab puppy you have ever seen. He is 8 weeks old and AKC registered. He was surrender by his owners because they developed severe allergies to him after the first week. He loves to play with other dogs, and is just fine in a big group. He played with pit bulls, a terrier mix, a schnauzer mix and a lab mix and did great with them all.

Pit Bull mix -  Deja is a female about 5 - 6 years old. She was rescued from a kill shelter and is a very calm, well mannered dog. In a word, she is awesome. If you want a well behaved girl that is ready to go and be a good dog for the family, she is it. Deja can keep herself entertained either in the yard or laying by the couch with a bone. She lives for a scratch behind the ears or a full on back rub and it is impossible to not give her what she wants. Pit Bull / Boxer mix - LJ has an extremely sad story. His previous owner became homeless and had to surrender LJ because he loved him and wanted the best for him. LJ is an amazing dog. Mastiff / American Bulldog mix - We rescued River from an outdoor kennel with 2 other dogs, where the living conditions were pretty horrible. He is only about 6 -7 months old, about 50 pounds and house-trained. He is very sweet and extremely well behaved (especially for a puppy), but he is very, very shy and will require other dogs in the house to be happy. He prefers children to adults and is very hesitant with adult men, especially if they are bigger, taller guys. The foster home has two small children in the house and River plays in the back yard with them, so he is good with kids but still prefers dogs for company. He would have to use a harness, because he is very unhappy when he is on a leash attached to his collar and really wants it off. An adoptive family will need to be patient and diligent when they adopt River because he is so nervous around new people, but the trade off could be worth it. The foster home says he is a very sweet dog, and is well behaved in the house. He is micro-chipped, current on his vaccinations, and neutered.

Red Heeler - Jesse  is one of the best little puppies ever, and very smart. He can sit, stay, shake, and army crawl and he learned all that in one afternoon. I guarantee that you will smile when you meet him. Jesse is in a foster home with two other dogs that he gets along with wonderfully. The last picture is an update one and shows you what a nice looking dog he has grown into. He is 10 - 12 months old and is neutered, chipped, de-wormed, house-trained and current on vaccinations.

Beagle -Clark is an adult Beagle who was found as a stray. He is a total people dog, gets along well with other dogs, and is also okay with cats. Chocolate Lab - Dennis is an 8 week old Chocolate Lab puppy that somebody dropped on the side of the road because they didn't want to deal with the things that go with owning a puppy. Foxhound - Jack is about 8 months old, 40 - 45 pounds, super easy going, and loves to be inside with the kids, with other dogs playing in the yard, or just being lazy by the couch with a bone. He is house-trained, doesn't really bark like you would expect a hound to, and he is extremely loving and gentle. He does need to go to a home with a 6 foot fence though. Miniature Schnauzer - Cheyenne is a 5 year old Schnauzer that loves women and children. She does have a tendency to be scared of some men and will bark at them. Cheyenne knows several commands, is completely potty-trained, and does not need to be kenneled. Hew owners say that she loves to go for walks, play with squeaky toys, sit with you on the couch and watch TV, and chew on bones, but she would prefer to be an only dog. They also describe her as super sweet and very loyal, but she does suffer from allergies and does require special food and medication. Pit Bull mix - Diesel is a young Pit approximately 10 weeks old. His body is shorter and longer than a normal pit, but we are not sure what he is mixed with. He almost looks like a p;it bull / dachshund mix, but we can't imagine that being right. One thing for sure is that it makes him very unique and he is a sweet and playful little boy. He loves everything and everyone. Deisel was found in the parking lot of Valley View apartments in Kansas and taken to a kill shelter. Pit Bull - Raja is a female pitbull, around 4 years old. She was surrendered by her owner and all I can say is THANK GOD! She is about 20 pounds under weight, her nails were so long that her paws were bleeding, and she had a pretty raw sore on her front foreleg. In spite of living in terrible conditions, she is very laid back and gets along well with other dogs her size. Raja is one of the sweetest dogs that I have ever met, and with a little TLC, she will make someone a great dog. The night we got her, we took her to PetSmart and she captivated the whole store. Nobody cared that she was a pitbull, or how skinny she was, they all came up to see the sweet little puppy in our cart with the pretty eyes.  I will update the pictures when we get a little weight on her and she looks as healthy as a dog as awesome as her deserves! Cane is a friendly, exuberant boy who will make some lucky person a great pet. He is around 4.5 years old and about 75 pounds. And, as you can clearly see, he is GORGEOUS. He does not chew, he is 100% house-trained, and probably does not need to be kenneled. Plus, he absolutely LOVES poeple!!! Whether it is sitting by your side, playing in the yard, or laying down with you, Cane is a very cuddly dog and incredibly loyal. This dog is truly one who deserves a chance, I promise you will not regret it.

She came from a small commerical breeding facility.

Since she was in a breeding facility she will need a patient home that will work with her on socializing.  A home with real small children might not be ideal because she can be shy.

Dalmation - COURTESY POSTING - Majic is 9 years old. He does not act his age, he is very active. He is very affectionate, loyal, loves to cuddle, and be close to you. He will steal your heart. He gets along with cats and small dogs and submissive large dogs. Majic had a common Dalmatian urinary problem that causes him to form stones in his bladder. To keep this under control he has had a special surgery and does require special food that cost around $75 per for a 30 # bag which last approximately 60 days. He also needs to be on a medication to help prevent reoccurrence of the stones. He is a very loving dog that is looking for a permanent home.  Majic would do better in a home that didn't have small children.  He is a very active boy! :)  Majic is located in OMAHA, NEBRASKA. We are looking for an adoption donation for Majic that will help cover some of his surgery cost. His total surgery cost was $1,500. Majic is house trained and neutered.

Yellow Lab mix - Danny is a wonder dog! It's amazing how beautiful he is considering how he looked when we got him. Dan is about 6 years old.

Dan came into a local shelter as a stray and he was a mess! Hair falling out like crazy, his head looked dented on top because of malnutrition, terrible eye infections, and heartworm! After receiving care from our wonderful veterinarian, and a loving home with a wonderful foster, Dan is a new man. Just look at his pictures - he's a good-looking boy!

Dan is a testament to the forgiving nature of dogs. Clearly, he was neglected by his previous owners, yet you'd never know it from his temperament. He is one of the most loving dogs we have ever met. He follows his foster mom and dad wherever they go, and always has to have some part of his body touching theirs. If he stands next to you, he will lean on you. If he sits next to you, he will place a paw on your arm or your leg, or will rest his head in your lap. Dan loves other dogs and everybody he meets. And everybody he meets loves him, too - you just can't help it!

Lab mix - Max comes to us from a shelter in Souix City, Iowa, that was over limit and he was scheduled to be put down. They were begging us to take him because he was such a great dog. Guess what....they weren't lying, he is an incredible dog. He is a very smart dog and already knows sit, shake, and stay. He is also very well behaved and is just a great dog. He does not need to be kenneled, doesn't chew, is completely house-trained, and gets along with cats, dogs, and kids. He is a good looking boy who just needs someone to love him.

She is about 30 pounds right now, and still growing but will probably not be much more than 50 pounds. Lab/Shepherd Mix - Suzie is a sweet girl who was surrendered at a local shelter. A neighbor had called attention to Suzie's plight because the owner was beating Suzie with a metal rod. Nice! Animal control paid him a visit and he surrendered her.

We assumed that Suzie would have some issues when she came to us, but surprise! Turns out she's a great dog. All it took was a little bit of attention, kindness, and decent food. After only a few days, she lost her fear of men, learned to walk on a leash, and is wonderfully affectionate. It says so much for the forgiving nature of dogs. She has really come a long way and is one of the sweestest dogs you may ever meet.

Suzie is spayed, up-to-date on vaccinations, micro-chipped, heartworm negative and on heartworm preventative.

Shepherd/Chow mix - Bear comes to us from a bad situation. He was a horrible mess and after several hours of grooming and TLC, he is a beautiful dog. He is a very well mannered, fine with other dogs, and great with kids. You just wouldn't believe how gentle this big guy is. He is a beautiful dog who just needs someone to love him.

Chihuahua - This is Chance, he was rescued from a kill shelter in Kansas. The poor little guy spent 3 of his first 8 weeks in a shelter kennel. Chance is just a tiny little guy and only 8 weeks old, but that does not take away from his puppyhood. He loves to play and run around in the yard.

Pit Bull mix - Bailey is a sweet girl who loves to be around people. She is an absolutely beautiful dog, and poetry in motion when she is playing fetch with tennis balls, which she loves more than just about anything. Bailey, at this point, wants to be around people more than other animals, but she was in a foster home with cats and (she did fine with them), and another dog who unfortunately did not like her.

American Bulldog - Needs a foster home or new home immediately!!!! Lexi is yet another bully breed with a sad story. She is a very sweet girl with a good temperament whose owners are being deployed and they cannot keep her.  I guarantee that 10 minutes after meeting this dog you will fall in love with her. She is such a sweetheart. She is even good with cats and kids.

Border Collie/Pit Mix - Polly is a sweet girl who LOVES to play. She can play fetch just as long as you can, and longer. She does really needs to be an only pet because she can become protective of her owner when it comes to other animals. Don't let this run you away though, She is perfect with people and very good with kids. She is a really sweet girl, who is a lot of fun to play with (she has real potential to be a frisbee dog with a little work) and just needs someone to give her a chance.
